I've neglected this blog for awhile, not that I have been neglecting myself really. Just updating.
I have been eating better, got off the whole "I lost the weight I can eat whatever I want" mentality as it wasn't a positive influence on the scale. I haven't weighed myself in about two weeks or so. I'm still somewhat maintaining....post weight gain. Reality.
I have been eating more consistently throughout the day, and trying not to be like "what's for dinner" and getting lazy. I still workout with Stephen 3 times a week. I'm currently getting over a cold, and working with kids does somewhat hinder the entire maintaining health aspect. I get sick more frequently than desired. But changing kids lives....is worth it, or I tell myself it's worth it when I feel like poop. lol. It is, seriously. But yeah being sick is not fun.
Anyways. I got a new cookbook recently Eating Well Serves Two it's pretty cool, mostly healthy dishes, there are a few kinda higher in calories but overall a really good looking cook book. I need to make a few things from it, I have marked recipes I want to tackle. It's nice to have a cookbook for 2 people, since so many times you end up with tons of food and leftovers. This cookbook eliminates that, if your single it's enough for dinner and lunch, or for two people.
But yeah I'm still aware of the healthy lifestyle and trying to maintain. It's a lifelong commitment and sometimes I slip up...I'm human. Soon I will hopefully be back into my size 2's...(verses my current size 6's). And will be able to maintain. I'm human.
